Pedestrian Killed in Ventura Hit-and-Run Crash on Harbor Boulevard
VENTURA, CA (February 14, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian on Harbor Boulevard in Ventura.
According to The Ventura County Star and KEYT News, the tragic accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 7:57 p.m.
The incident happened on February 13 when a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city of Ventura. The driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting him on Harbor Boulevard.
Police said another vehicle approached and then ran over the man in the roadway, just south of Spinnaker Drive. The second motorist did not stop to help him and fled the area.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the victim left lying on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Harbor Boulevard to shut down for several hours following the pedestrian incident. The fatal Ventura hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
