Vermont Square Fatal Crash Figueroa Street Near 110 Freeway

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the site near the 110 Freeway. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.

The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. The reports did not mention if the victim was the motorcyclist or an occupant of the vehicle.

Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Figueroa Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Vermont Square crash is still under investigation.
