Victorville crash Hook Amargosa
2 Injured in Victorville Crash at Hook Boulevard and Amargosa Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 31, 2022) – A car crash at Hook Boulevard and Amargosa Road left two people injured in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:10 a.m.
The incident happened on July 28 when a vehicle slammed into the rear of another in the city of Victorville. The two crashed at the intersection of Hook Boulevard and Amargosa Road.
2 Cars Collide
Deputies described the cars as a white 2017 GMC Arcadia SUV and a silver Kia Forte. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found both drivers hurt.
Officials began chest compressions on a male motorist who sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. The other driver survived with cuts to their head.
Medical personnel rushed the man to a trauma center for treatment. The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Hook and Amargosa to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Victorville crash is still under investigation.
