2 Seriously Injured in Victorville Crash on Mariposa Road Near Eucalyptus Street
VICTORVILLE, CA (December 30, 2021) – Two were seriously injured after a car crash on Mariposa Road near Eucalyptus Street in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Thursday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:40 p.m.
The Victorville Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason on Mariposa Road. They crashed near the S curve near Eucalyptus Street.
Officials described the cars as a 2004 GMC Yukon and a black 2021 Hyundai Elantra. Both obtained major damage upon impact.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then extricated a trapped woman from the wreckage. She sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision.
Another person survived with moderate injuries. Medical personnel soon rushed the patients to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Mariposa Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Victorville crash is still under investigation.
