Major Injury Collision at Air Expressway and Nevada Avenue
Victorville, CA (May 6, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Air Expressway and Nevada Avenue.
The Victor Valley News Group reported a collision between a semi truck and a sedan took place at the intersection in Victorville early Friday.
1 Trapped, Badly Hurt in Victorville Crash
Shortly after 3:06 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one driver trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters spent approximately 20 to 30 minutes extricating the victim. After pulling out the injured driver, a Helicopter Mercy 22 airlifted the patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the exact cause of the accident at Air Expressway and Nevada Avenue.
