1 Killed in Victorville Crash at Amargosa and La Mesa Roads

VICTORVILLE, CA (May 4, 2023) – A crash killed at least one person at Amargosa Road and La Mesa Road in Victorville.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck on May 4 at around 9 p.m.

The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Victorville. The cars crashed at the intersection of Amargosa and La Mesa roads.

2 Cars Collide

CHP described one of the cars involved as an SUV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Interstate 15 Freeway.

Medical personnel then confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Amargosa and La Mesa to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Victorville crash is still under investigation.
