2 Critically Injured in Victorville Head-On Crash on Amargosa Road Near Dunia Plaza
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 17, 2021) – Two were critically injured after a car crash on Amargosa Road in Victorville last week.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident occurred on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck on May 14 at about 11:51 p.m.
Deputies said a silver Ford Mustang and a 4-door sedan collided head-on on Amargosa Road in Victorville. The two crashed for an unknown reason in front of the Cracker Barrel in the Dunia Plaza.
Car Collision Near Cracker Barrel
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They sustained substantial leg injuries due to the impact.
Air ambulances took both patients, the driver of one of the cars involved and the passenger of the other vehicle, to trauma centers for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officials forced Amargosa Road to shut down in both directions following the wreck.
The cause of the Victorville head-on crash is under investigation. Anyone with information can call the police at 760-241-2911.
