2 Injured in Victorville Crash on Amargosa Road Near La Mesa Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 6, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Amargosa Road near La Mesa Road in Victorville.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Sunday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:55 p.m.
The incident happened when a blue Hyundai Accent and a red 2014 VW Volkswagen Jetta collided head-on for an unknown reason in Victorville.
The two cars crashed along Amargosa Road near La Mesa Road near the entrance to the AAA shopping center. The driver of the Hyundai, a 24-year-old woman, ended up trapped inside her vehicle.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed her from the wreckage. A ground ambulance rushed her to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The 35-year-old man driving the Volkswagen sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision. A helicopter flew him to a trauma center for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Victorville crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced a stretch of Amargosa Road to shut down in both directions near La Mesa following the wreck.
