Sleeping Man Hit and Injured by a Vehicle in Parking Area at Mooney Boulevard and Noble Avenue Saturday
Visalia, CA (August 16, 2021) – On August 14, Saturday, a suspected hit-and-run collision occurred in the area of Mooney Boulevard and Noble Avenue.
The ABC30 News reported a vehicle pulled into the parking lot near a business at Mooney and Noble. For an unknown reason, the driver accelerated towards the direction of a man sleeping in the parking area. The vehicle run over the victim, and immediately fled the scene.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash in Visalia, August 14
Shortly after 4:30 a.m., medical personnel responded to the 500 block of S. Mooney Boulevard. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the injured pedestrian. Due to the condition of the patient, an ambulance rushed the man to a local hospital for treatment.
No immediate information was available on the suspect. Investigators continue to work at this time to identify and locate the hit-and-run driver in the pedestrian accident in a parking lot at Mooney Boulevard and Noble Avenue.
