2 Injured in Visalia Pedestrian Crash at Demaree and Noble

VISALIA, CA (May 11, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a pedestrian crash at Demaree Street and Noble Avenue in Visalia.

According to an article published by the ABC 30 News, the accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the collision at around 6 p.m.

The incident happened on May 10 when a driver ran a red light at the intersection of Demaree Street and Noble Avenue. Visalia police said the vehicle then struck a male and a female pedestrian.

Driver Runs Red Light, Hits Victims

The man and the woman were crossing the street when they were hit. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found both victims hurt.

The patients sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took them to a hospital for treatment.

The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victims.

Officers forced the area of Demaree and Noble to shut down following the incident. The cause of the Visalia pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
