Woman Seriously Injured in Visalia Hit-and-Run Crash on Houston Avenue
VISALIA, CA (February 4, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash on Houston Avenue in Visalia.
According to an article published by Your Central Valley, the accident took place late last year. Officers reported the collision on December 31, 2021, at around 6 p.m.
Visalia police said two vehicles struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city. They hit her on Houston Avenue near Burke Street.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the woman left lying on the ground. She sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the both drivers did not stop to render aid to the woman and fled the area. They described the cars as a silver or grey 4-door Honda and possibly a white or silver Nissan.
Officers shut down a stretch of Houston Avenue following the collision. The cause of the Visalia hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
