Officers Hospitalized After Collision on Sunset Boulevard
West Hollywood, CA (April 14, 2022) – Two sheriff’s deputies suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Sunset Boulevard, the WEHOVille News reported.
On April 6, Wednesday, a traffic accident involving a sheriff’s police cruiser occurred in West Hollywood. The article published online mentioned the patrol vehicle collided with a civilian car on Sunset Boulevard. Due to the force from the impact, the sheriff’s police cruiser veered off the roadway and slammed into the wall of the nearby Madeo restaurant. Meanwhile, the civilian car ended up disabled in the middle of the roadway.
Responding paramedics rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, emergency personnel transported two sheriff’s deputies to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
No immediate information was available on the occupants of the civilian car.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the collision on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.
