1 Injured in Westminster Crash on 405 Freeway Near Edwards Street
WESTMINSTER, CA (September 9, 2021) – At least one was injured after a crash on the 405 Freeway near Edwards Street in Westminster.
According to an article published by the Patch, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:39 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a big rig and an SUV collided for an unknown reason in Westminster. The two crashed on the southbound 405 Freeway near Edwards Street.
Car and Big Rig Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the fourth lane on the 405 Freeway near Edwards to close for half an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Westminster crash is still under investigation.
