Major Injury Car Crash on Highway 62 Wednesday
Whitewater, CA (May 6, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following a car accident on Highway 62 on May 5, Wednesday.
The NBC Palm Springs reported two vehicles collided on Highway 63 near Painted Hills Road. At this time, the make and model of the cars involved in the wreck remained undisclosed.

Shortly after 1:40 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site and found one person trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters responded to the location, and worked extensively to free the victim. Our sources indicated an ambulance rushed the extricated party to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment.
Additional details on the car accident in Whitewater have not been discussed thus far. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car accident on Highway 62.
