Pedestrian Dies in Suspected Hit-and-Run Collision on Geer Road
Turlock, CA (November 23, 2022) – William Hanson, a 36-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred on Geer Road Monday.
According to Turlock Journal News, local police received multiple calls reporting a man down on the ground in the 1200 block of Geer Road. Shortly after 11:30 a.m., rescue teams responded to the accident scene and found an unconscious person lying in the middle. Medical personnel performed CPR and life-saving measures to the victim. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased as William Hanson, of Turlock.
Earlier reports indicated Hanson died from injuries sustained after being hit by a car. Officials said the driver fled the scene after the collision. The hit-and-run suspect driving a white SUV was last seen heading south on Geer Road.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the horrible crash on Geer Road in Turlock.
