Bakersfield, CA (November 22, 2021) – William Alan Summers, a 73-year-old man, died following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway onramp.

The Bakersfield.com published an article online indicating William Summers was riding a motorcycle heading north on I-5. In the area near Highway 166, the motorcyclist reportedly crashed into a semitrailer.

The catastrophic incident took place on November 19, Friday.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found William Summers unconscious. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the man but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

No immediate information was available on the operator of the semitrailer.
