At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision at Sherwood Road and Brooktrails Drive Saturday
Willits, CA (May 29, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in the area of Sherwood Road and Brooktrails Drive resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On Tuesday, at about 7:15 p.m., CHP logged a traffic collision involving a solo-vehicle. Officials said a Honda Accord careened off the roadway, and ended up slamming into a power pole.
Responding emergency crews found at the scene several occupants partially trapped in the wreckage. Rescue teams worked extensively to pull out the victims. After the successful extrication, paramedics checked the conditions of all the passenger. Authorities later confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries, and required hospitalization due to the extent of their trauma.
The conditions of other parties involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
Police Arrests Suspect in Willits Major Car Crash, May 29
Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned police at the scene arrested one person in relation with the major car accident in Willits. The charges against the suspect remained unknown.
Further investigation on the collision is ongoing.
