At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Covelo Road Wednesday
Willits, CA (February 9, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred Wednesday on State Route 162 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle veered off the roadway for an unknown reason. Authorities said the car left the traffic lanes and rolled down the embankment. When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the car flipped on its roof.
Shortly after 2:26 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all the parties involved in the collision. According to the CHP dispatch, at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the collision. An ambulance later arrived and possibly transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise case of the car crash on State Route 162 in Willits.
