Vehicle Hits Teenager at County Road 200 and H
Willows, CA (May 24, 2023) – A 14-year-old girl suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of County Road 200 and County Road H Monday, May 22.
The Action News Now reported a 2015 Nissan Versa struck a young woman at the intersection in Willows. Preliminary investigation revealed the car was heading east on County Road 200 when the crash happened.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Crash in Willows
Due to the force from the impact, the juvenile was thrown and landed on the asphalt roadway. Responding paramedics rendered first aid to the victim, then transferred her to the hospital for treatment of major injuries including head trauma.
Officials added the driver of the Nissan also sustained injuries in the collision. For this reason, medical personnel transported the injured motorist to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the pedestrian accident at County Road 200 at County Road H in WIllows.
