1 Seriously Injured in Winnetka Crash on Saticoy Street Near Mason Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 12, 2022) – A car crash seriously injured one person on Saticoy Street in the Winnetka neighborhood.
According to an article published by the KTLA News, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:10 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Winnetka. They crashed in the 20500 block of Saticoy Street near Mason Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
One of the cars involved ended up wrapped around a pole at the intersection. The vehicles obtained major damage due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one party who sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Police mentioned that a pregnant woman was hospitalized following the wreck.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Saticoy Street to shut down for hours after the incident. The cause of the Winnetka car crash is still under investigation.
