Hit-and-Run Driver Fatally Hits Man Near Clay Court
Thousand Oaks, CA (June 30, 2022) – Yang Xuezeng, a 77-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Thousand Oaks Boulevard on June 7.
The KVTA News reported Xuezeng, of Thousand Oaks, was crossing Thousand Oaks Boulevard in the area near Clay Court. While in the roadway, the driver of an oncoming vehicle failed to avoid and struck the man. The horrible crash took place at approximately 8:40 p.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Thousand Oaks Boulevard
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the victim lying on the ground. Paramedics rushed the injured man to Los Robles Medical Center, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Ventura County authorities identified the deceased as Yang Xuezeng.
Meanwhile, the article published online confirmed the driver briefly stopped after the collision and then fled the scene. Detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
