Teacher Injured in Collision at 8th Mile Road and West Lane
Stockton, CA (January 21, 2023) – Yessenia Gutierrez, a Stockton teacher, suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of 8th Mile Road and West Lane.
The Recordnet News reported Gutierrez was heading home on January 8, Sunday, when her car crashed at the intersection in Stockton. Preliminary investigation revealed the traffic signals and light posts lost power while Gutierrez was driving her Jeep Cherokee in the streets of Stockton. Our sources indicated the teacher and another car entered the crossing at the same time, leading to the collision.

According to the article published online, the Jeep Cherokee rolled over several times before landing upside down in a ditch. Two Good Samaritans reportedly pulled out Gutierrez from her mangled car. When rescue teams arrived, they immediately attended to the injured teacher then transported her to a hospital for further treatment.
