Woman Killed in Collision Along Sacramento River
Yolo County, CA (April 20, 2022) – One person died following a car crash that occurred on Old River Road Wednesday, the KCRA News reported.
Officials said two vehicles collided on Old River Road just west of Natomas. Our sources indicated the accident took place along the Sacramento River in Yolo County.
Shortly after 9:35 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found a Lexus and a Hyundai both with significant damage.
Deadly Car Crash on Old River Road in Yolo County
Medical personnel said they rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Authorities only identified the deceased as a 58-year-old woman. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the name of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Old River Road in Yolo County.
