1 Seriously Injured in Yuba County Crash Near Hammonton Smartville and Boxwood
YUBA COUNTY, CA (April 3, 2022) – A crash seriously injured at least one person near Hammonton Smartville Road and Boxwood Way in Yuba County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:05 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason near the Beale Air Force Base in Yuba County. They crashed near the intersection of Hammonton Smartville Road and Boxwood Way.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the city of Marysville. They found one individual who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Adventist Health and Rideout for treatment of a broken left leg. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Hammonton Smartville and Boxwood to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Yuba County crash is still under investigation.
