Woman Killed in Collision at Forbestown
Yuba County, CA (September 24, 2022) – A 27-year-old female driver died following a car accident that occurred on New York Flat Road Friday night.
According to Sacramento Bee and multiple other local news source, two vehicles collided head-on on New York Flat Road in the Forbestown area. Preliminary investigation revealed the 27-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a gray 1990 Ford F-250. When the Ford approached an intersection, it crashed head-on into a green Ford F-150 driven by 44-year-old Jonathan Jordan.
Deadly Car Accident on New York Flat Road in Yuba County
Officials said the force from the impact ejected the female driver from her vehicle. For this reason, the woman sustained major head trauma and later sadly died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, Jordan appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly collision that happened on New York Flat Road in Yuba County.
