Pickup Trucks Collide on Richvale East Road
BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. (May 10, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash happened Friday on Richvale Highway, just west of Highway 99/State Route 162 in Butte County.
Two pickup trucks collided due to unknown circumstances at around 6:54 a.m. on May 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and an older-model blue Chevrolet pickup truck both wound up in a ditch next to the roadway.
The Butte County Fire Department responded and paramedics administered CPR on at least one person at the scene.
It’s unknown at this time how many people were hospitalized.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the pickup trucks from the scene.
CHP investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Richvale Highway.
