Oakland Car Accident on I-880 Freeway at Market Street
OAKLAND, Calif. (Dec. 30, 2021) — A two-vehicle Oakland crash happened Thursday morning on the Interstate 880 Freeway at the Market Street off ramp.
The Oakland crash took place about 5:31 a.m. on Dec. 30th on the northbound side of the Interstate 880, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics responded due to minor injuries resulting from the collision. A woman hit her head on the steering wheel of her vehicle and a man had cuts on his hands, the report said.
The drivers of a blue Toyota pickup truck and a gray sedan collided due to unknown circumstances, police said.
Tow trucks removed both of the involved vehicles from the scene of the Interstate 880 Oakland crash.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the collision.
