 3 Killed Pomona Crash at White Avenue and Phillips Boulevard

Victor Siharath, 36, Arrested on Alleged DUI Charges

POMONA, Calif. (March 3, 2024) — Three women are dead and two others were critically injured Saturday night in a fatal Pomona crash involving a suspected DUI driver at White Avenue and Phillips Boulevard.

The suspect allegedly drove through a red light at around 11 p.m. on March 2nd and crashed into a vehicle carrying five people heading home after a baby shower in Pomona, according to ABC 7 News.

Victor Siharath, 36, of Pomona, was arrested after the collision on felony DUI charges.

Meanwhile, the other driver, Lorena Morales, and her passengers, Alejandra Olaez, 33, and Yesenia Ochoa, 33, all died following the crash. Two died at the scene and the third at the hospital.

Paramedics also transported Juan Manuel “Jamie” Garcia, and Noemi Olaez, 12, to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Juan Garcia is the husband of Lorena Morales and was in the front seat. The 12-year-old girl lost her mother Alejandra Olaez in the crash.

Witnesses to the fatal Pomona crash are asked to contact the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau at 909-620-2048.
