3-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 215 in Colton
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (April 4, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Thursday on the Riverside 215 Freeway near Iowa Avenue in the city of Colton, Riverside County.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision in the southbound lanes of the I-215 at around 7:08 a.m. on April 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, a tan Nissan Pathfinder SUV and a gray Honda CRV were involved. A woman in the Pathfinder was bleeding from her mouth and required paramedics. It’s unknown if others were also injured or if anyone was hospitalized.
Police issued a SigAlert due to the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes being blocked by the vehicles. Meanwhile, tow trucks removed all three cars from the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 215 Freeway in Colton.
