Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Car Accident in Indio
INDIO, Calif. (March 25, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Monday night on Fred Waring Drive near Clinton Street in Indio.
The four-vehicle traffic accident occurred at around 7:24 p.m. on March 24th, according to a report by the CAL Fire Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the crash scene and located four people with injuries including three with serious injuries and one with minor injuries, the report said.
There was at least one person airlifted to a hospital due to severe injuries from the crash and others were taken by ground ambulances.
Meanwhile, authorities closed down Fred Waring Drive, just west of Clinton to conduct an investigation that took several hours.
Finally, investigators from the Indio Police Department are working to determine fault for the collision.
