2-Vehicle Collision at Phelan Intersection
PHELAN, Calif. (May 2, 2024) — A two-vehicle Phelan car accident happened Thursday morning at Buttemere Road and State Route 18.
The traffic collision occurred at around 11:46 a.m. on May 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials received a collision alert from an iPhone belonging to a driver involved in a crash between a gray Ford Maverick pickup truck and a dark gray Kia Optima. One of the vehicles T-boned the other vehicle at the intersection.
An infant riding in the Kia was evaluated by arriving paramedics as a precaution, but it’s unknown if there were any injuries in either of the vehicles at this time.
Finally, witnesses to the Phelan car accident should call the California Highway Patrol.
