Pedestrian is Among Six Injured in 2-Vehicle Venice Boulevard Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 6, 2024) – Six people were injured including a pedestrian in a two-vehicle crash on West Venice Boulevard, just east of La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.
The traffic accident occurred at 4738 W. Venice Boulevard in the Mid-City area, according to a report by the Los Angeles Fire Department and a CBS News report.
Two cars were involved and one overturned onto its side. Firefighters responded to the scene and located one person trapped in the overturned vehicle. They used hydraulic tools to extricate the person who was possibly the pedestrian who was hurt in the crash, but that was not confirmed.
Paramedics treated six people with minor to major injuries on scene with five being taken to hospitals. Two women ages 62 and 51 were critically injured in the crash. Also, a 51-year-old man had serious injuries and a 40-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl had moderate injuries. A 46-year-old man who had minor injuries declined an ambulance to the hospital.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Venice Boulevard.
