Motorcyclist Daniel Berger Killed in Wilmington Crash
WILMINGTON, Calif. (May 5, 2021) – Daniel Berger, 49, died Sunday when a driver turned in front of his motorcycle at Lomita Boulevard and Eudora Avenue in Wilmington,
The motorcycle rider was unable to avoid colliding into the turning vehicle at the Wilmington intersection.
Additionally, the fatal crash happened about 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 5th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
An unidentified 23-year-old man driving the vehicle collided with the motorcycle while making a left turn. Police are investigating the crash to determine which motorist had the right of way. Meanwhile, witnesses are urged to contact the LAPD traffic investigations unit.
The driver in the vehicle stopped and cooperated with authorities on scene.
Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Daniel Berger as the man who died in the crash.
