Minor Injury Crash on Harbor 110 Freeway in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 18, 2021) — A multi-vehicle 110 Freeway crash happened Tuesday morning at El Segundo Boulevard in the Harbor Gateway area.
The drivers of a grey Chevrolet Camaro, a silver Toyota Camry and a burgundy sedan collided about 4:56 a.m. on May 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reports the crash happened in the slow lane of the freeway. The burgundy car wound up on the dirt shoulder and another vehicle was sideways in the slow lanes blocking traffic.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the 110 Freeway.
A witness called 911 to report they believed the 110 Freeway crash involved a road rage incident prior to the collision.
Meanwhile, the collision caused about 100 feet of guardrail damage that needed to be repaired. Authorities closed down the El Segundo off ramp due to the crash.
Investigators will determine liability for the collision.
