Pedestrian Killed in 110 Freeway Crash
CARSON, Calif. (June 22, 2021) — A pedestrian accident on the Harbor (110) Freeway Monday night in Carson resulted in a fatality.
The crash happened about t 10:34 p.m. on Monday, June 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorist struck the pedestrian, but it’s unknown why the person was on the freeway at this time. Investigators closed down the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway at Carson Street due to the deadly Carson collision. Police seek to find out if speed, drugs or alcohol were factors in the fatal collision.

Meanwhile, the freeway later reopened at 2:28 a.m. on Tuesday morning, according to the CHP.
The victim’s identity, age and gender is unknown at this time. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the identity after relatives are notified of the collision and the circumstances.
