Major Injury Manteca Crash on Hwy 120
MANTECA, Calif. (July 30, 2021) — A Manteca crash on Highway 120 today left at least one person with major injuries.
The collision happened about 11:38 a.m. on July 30th between a red Kia, a Hyundai and a white GMC Yukon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One of the vehicles caught on fire in the No. 1 lane following the multi-vehicle crash near the Main Street off ramp.
Investigation Into Highway 120 Accident
The CHP report alleges the GMC Yukon set off the collision, but offers no further information.
Meanwhile, at least one person suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital. The age, gender and names of the injured are unknown at this time.
Tow trucks removed at least one of the vehicles from the scene.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Highway 120 Manteca crash and liability.
