2-Vehicle Crash on Sepulveda Boulevard Leaves One Dead
GRANADA HILLS, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2021) — A fatal crash in Granada Hills left one person dead Monday night after two vehicles collided on Sepulveda Boulevard.
The traffic accident happened about 5:16 p.m. at 13470 N. Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The drivers of a large white van and a maroon car collided due to unknown circumstances.
Fatal Crash Granada Hills on Sepulveda Boulevard
Paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene where they located one person suffering from non-life threatening injures. They extricated the person from one of the two vehicles. However, a second person suffered major injuries and died at the scene, the LAFD and KTLA reported.
There is no further details about the victim who died at this time. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s name after relatives are notified.
Meanwhile, investigators work to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
