Pedestrian Killed in Riverside Accident is Identified
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (June 14, 2022) — Kevin Abric, 34, of Riverside, died in a pedestrian accident Tuesday at the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway and Alessandro Boulevard on ramp near the March Air Reserve Base.
Also, the CHP reported the incident about 6:14 a.m. on June 14th in the Edgemont area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There are no specific details about the collision at this time, but the most recent report indicates a driver struck a pedestrian.
The 911 operator sent CALFIRE Riverside paramedics to help the pedestrian and others who might have injuries.
Kevin Abric suffered major injuries and died at the scene of the collision.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed at least one of the damaged vehicles and cleared the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case. They will determine fault for the crash on the Interstate 215 Freeway in Riverside County.
