Man, 23, Identified as One of Five Killed in Littlerock Collision
LITTLEROCK, Calif. (April 29, 2024) – Corry Holley, Jr., 23, is one of five people who died Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on the Pearblossom (138) Highway at 106th Street East in Littlerock.
Four other people also died in the crash, but their identities have not been released. One was a man in his 20s and the other was a man in his 60s.
UPDATE: Three of the four killed in the Littlerock crash are identified
The deadly crash occurred on Highway 138 at around 8:12 p.m. on Sunday, April 28th, according to KTLA 5 News and the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a blue or gray Mitsubishi sedan and a blue Toyota Yaris collided due to unknown circumstances on the eastbound side of Pearblossom Highway, police said. The Toyota overturned onto its roof in the brush on the side of the road and the Mitsubishi wound up on its side on the shoulder of the highway.
Meanwhile, several people became trapped in the two cars and both drivers and two passengers from the vehicles died at the scene. A third passenger was airlifted to a hospital where they later died.
Corry Holley Jr. was identified by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner. The identities of the four other victims will be released after their relatives are notified.
Investigators closed down 106th Street East and are working determine the cause of the Littlerock crash on Pearblossom Highway.
Finally, the roadway reopened to traffic about 4:30 a.m. the next day.
