2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101, Just South of Gilroy
GILROY, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2022) — A Gilroy crash involving two motorists happened Friday morning on Highway 101, just north of State Route 25 in the Miller area.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on both sides of the freeway about 6:36 a.m. on September 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white pickup truck and a silver RAV4 SUV collided and one of the vehicles crossed over the guardrail into opposing traffic.
Paramedics responded to the southbound side where the pickup truck was blocking the fast lane, but the RAV 4 wound up on the northbound side.
Meanwhile, the CHP responded to the scene to investigate the crash scene and determine fault.
Finally, a tow truck removed the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
