Pedestrian Struck, Killed in Anaheim on the Orange (57) Freeway
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2022) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Monday morning on the Orange (57) Freeway near Ball Road in Anaheim.
The Anaheim collision occurred about 5:15 a.m. on Sept. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol and MyNewsLA.
CHP officials say a driver struck the victim in the southbound lanes of the freeway due to unknown circumstances.
Police and paramedics responded to the freeway, but sadly the person died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and is cooperating with the police investigation.
Finally, police will determine liability for the pedestrian accident on the 57 Freeway.
