2 Injured in Crash on Bear Valley Road in Hesperia
HESPERIA, Calif. (April 26, 2024) — Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a Hesperia crash on Bear Valley Road near Second Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at about 12:13 p.m., on April 22, 2024, according to the Victor Valley News Group.
A driver in a Chevrolet van was westbound on Bear Valley Road and had stopped to turn south into a shopping center. Meanwhile, a woman driving eastbound on the same road a white 2006 Toyota Camry Solora. The Toyota reportedly failed to stop for a red traffic light at Second Avenue and broadsided the van near the entrance of the Tom’s Famous Family Restaurant, the report said.
Paramedics responded and rushed the man who was driving the Chevrolet to a hospital for treatment of major injuries to his arm, the report said.
Meanwhile, the woman from the Toyota had minor arm injuries and a possible head injury so she was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
Investigators continue to work on the case and will determine fault for the crash on Bear Valley Road.
