2 Injured in Perris Crash Involving Dump Truck
PERRIS, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2022) — Two people suffered injuries in a Perris dump truck crash on Harley Knox Boulevard in Riverside County.
The collision between a car and a dump truck occurred about 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 15th at Indian Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department and The Patch.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate one of the injured vehicle occupants from the wreckage.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision, located just south of March Air Reserve Base, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Paramedics transported at least one person to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
The truck driver also suffered injuries, but there are no further details.
The crash remains under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
