1 Dead, 1 Injured in Hesperia Crash on Summit Valley Road
HESPERIA, Calif. (Sept. 22, 2022) — A fatal Hesperia crash happened Thursday on Summit Valley Road at Trout Street in San Bernardino County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 6:20 a.m. on Sept. 22nd, just north of Highway 138, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white vehicle and a black Dodge Challenger collided in the westbound lane. One of the vehicles spun around and was facing the wrong way in the southbound lane following the crash.
Police closed down Summit Valley Road at Ranchero due to the collision investigation.
At least one person suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. A second person suffered fatal injuries on scene, but there are no further details.
The crash remains under investigation.
