Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-15 at Kenwood Avenue
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2022) — Eduardo Calderon Zaragoza, 30, of Phelan, died in a San Bernardino motorcycle crash on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway, roughly a half mile north of the Kenwood Avenue off ramp.
The collision occurred about 4:23 a.m. on Saturday, October 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Motorcyclist Eduardo Calderon Zaragoza went down in traffic lanes in front of a driver in a red Nissan Sentra who told authorities she was unable to avoid hitting the rider or his motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider suffered major head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:42 a.m.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the death of Eduardo Calderon Zaragoza.
