Two-Vehicle Crash on Skyway in Butte County
BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2022) — A Butte County crash involving two motorists happened Tuesday, Oct. 11th on eastbound Skyway.
Both vehicles suffered major damage in the crash and it sparked a small fire on the side of the roadway, according to Action News Now.
CAL FIRE Butte County and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and located at least two people with undisclosed injuries from the collision.
Prior to the arrival of emergency responders, several passing motorists stopped and attempted to put out the fire.
Police closed at least one lane of Skyway due to the crash, but it’s unknown when the road reopened.
There were no specific injuries reported from the Butte County crash on Skyway.
