Semi-Truck, SUV Overturn on Highway 37 in Sonoma Area
SONOMA, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2022) — A semi-truck and SUV collided and both overturned in a crash on State Route Highway 37 also known as Sears Point Road.
The two-vehicle rollover crash occurred in the westbound lanes of Highway 37 about 11:13 a.m. on Nov. 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the Mercedes SUV overturned and was blocking the roadway and the semi-truck overturned into the water. However, it’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision.
Both vehicles required tow trucks to remove them from the roadway.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to transport anyone hurt in the traffic accident.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Sonoma crash on Sears Point Road.
