Redlands Man, 38, Killed, Passenger Injured in Solo Crash
REDLANDS, CA (April 25, 2024) — Adrian Magallanes, 38, of Redlands, died and his passenger was injured Monday night after his pickup truck into a tree while driving on San Timoteo Canyon Road in Redlands.
The deadly crash occurred at about 11:20 p.m. on Monday, April 22nd, near Deadwood Court, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police reported the driver and passenger were heading northbound in a 2005 Nissan Titan pickup truck when he went off the roadway and hit the tree, the Patch reported.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but Adrian Magallanes passed away before he could be taken to a hospital. He was later identified by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner.
Meanwhile, a passenger riding with him suffered non-life threatening moderate injuries and was transported to a regional trauma center.
Authorities do not yet know if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor, police said.
