3 Killed in Crash at Goffs Road and Landfair Valley Road in Goffs
NEEDLES, Calif. (August 31, 2022) — Aleyia Rivas, 20, of Whittier, Dyllon Carrillo, 23, of Anaheim and Kendra Herrera, 24, of Whittier, died in a car accident at Goffs Road and Landfair Valley Road in Goffs.
The solo-vehicle crash occurred about 1 p.m. on Monday. August 29th, just west of Needles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department identified the three passengers from the SUV on its website.
The three were among four people traveling together in an SUV that overturned and crashed into a Verizon telephone pole near the intersection.
The fourth person from the vehicle, Basil Martinez, survived with major injuries. A helicopter airlifted him to a Las Vegas hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Needles office of the California Highway Patrol.
