Hit-and-run Driver Sought for Death of Alfredo Aparicio

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (April 10, 2024) — Alfredo Aparicio, 37, of Perris, died Monday morning in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Cajalco Road, just east of Decker Road in Mead Valley, an unincorporated Riverside County.

The deadly crash occurred between 3:15 a.m. when he was dropped off in the area and 7 a.m. when his body was discovered on the shoulder of the roadway, the California Highway Patrol said. CHP detectives responded to the scene at around 7:40 a.m. the same day.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Alfredo Aparicio on its website.

Investigators are working to locate the suspect and vehicle involved and are asking witnesses to contact them with any information to call 951-637-8000.
